This is a beautiful brightly variegated ground cover bamboo and is extremely hardy. The fairly large leaves are striped with wide bands of a mustard yellow colour.

If using this bamboo for ground cover the foliage can be trimmed back annually to allow for a flush of new growth each Spring.

This bamboo also makes an excellent container plant.
